Candy Floss is a bright bay pony foal who was born at the SPCA Horse Care Unit in November 2022 (see story below).
She is easy to catch and handle although has some anxiety about having her hooves trimmed. She lives out with another pony and is friendly & inquisitive towards new horses and people. She should mature to over 14hh.
We would love her to be adopted by a foal savvy family who can give her the time and space to mature and grow.
When a cart horse was subject to a merciless whipping on Strandfontein Road, we received several calls from motorists alarmed about the safety of the pony. The cart driver was continuously whipping her to get her to move faster.
