Seeing is believing – meet Courage, the true embodiment of resilience and strength! This brave German Shepherd has faced unimaginable neglect and hardship in his life, but his spirit remains unbroken. Rescued from a harrowing situation by Inspector Lee Prins, Courage has shown that his name truly suits him.
Courage’s life before rescue was marred by neglect, leaving him unvaccinated, un-neutered, underfed, and uncared for. This neglect led to a series of health challenges, including a life-threatening disease, a puzzling skin condition, emaciation, untreated arthritis in his hips and spine, and a Transmissible Venereal Tumor (TVT).
Despite all odds, Courage’s bravery knows no bounds. He not only fought to survive while buried under a mound of sand but has continued to fight through every veterinary intervention with unwavering determination. His treatments, including chemotherapy, were faced head-on, showcasing his true warrior spirit.
Courage is not just brave; he’s also incredibly loving. He adores every person he meets, making him a darling companion. While he may not be compatible with cats and very young children, he gets along well with other dogs (fully vaccinated essential). Come and meet this extraordinary boy and let his indomitable spirit inspire your heart.
In a heartless act of cruelty, Courage was buried alive. It was a race against time to save him as he fought for each breath under mounds of sand. When we finally reached him, we thought his fight was over, unfortunately it was just beginning.
