Named after a Persian king (Darius the Great), Darius is a regal soul who carries himself with a distinct air of royalty. When he isn’t presiding over his kingdom (his enclosure), he is hoarding his riches (treats), and planning his next area of the room to conquer and claim. Otherwise he loves a good scratch behind the ear and will demand from his human subjects (that’s us), a tummy rub after a hard day’s work ruling over his rat empire. Darius will preferably be adopted with his bonded buddy Inca, but he can also thrive on his own as a single rat. Darius comes already sterilised and microchipped.
