These dogs are busy-bodies. Their tails wag at hundred km/h. They are always ready to go day or night, especially without regular exercise and usually have great athletic skills. These dogs need a lot of mental stimulation and physical exercise. If you are not keen on exercise, then this type of dog is not for you.

Gary was brought to SPCA by our inspectorate and he was so thin and scared. He is such a lovable boy with loads of energy and has settled in and is learning new things. He loves his food- we recommend a slow feeder bowl and environmental food enrichment to keep him stimulated and to help him eat a little slower. He has such long legs and loves to run and play, so we recommend a spacious garden for him. He needs a lot of kindness and to feel safe and that he belongs. Gary could live with a dog friend subject to a successful introduction.
