Adopted!
Because every tail deserves a happy ending!
Possibly the best part of everything we do at the SPCA is our Happy Homings.
To see the joy on the faces of the new families and the sheer delight of the animals they adopt makes all the blood, sweat and tears worthwhile.
Many of the animals who come through our doors have been rescued from situations of such diabolical cruelty it is hard to imagine.
Others have endured traumas such as abandonment, bereavement from a deceased and beloved owner, getting lost and finding themselves stray… their hearts beat as ours and they feel emotions just as deeply.

Destined to Be: How Blueberry Found Her Long-Lost Brother in Cody

From ‘Useless’ to Irreplaceable: Milo’s Journey to Becoming Chief Happiness Officer
Milo’s previous owner surrendered him with the harsh words, “He’s useless, the thieves came inside even though he was there.” Now, we have a sneaking suspicion Milo might have smiled them in – because with that goofy grin, who could resist? (We’re not saying it happened, but we’re also not not saying it happened!)

Cuteness overload as Nobert settles into his fur-ever home
Norbert has the softest nature and clowns around a lot at night when I put him to bed. I don’t know if he did this while at SPCA, rubbing his eyes with his long legs, displaying his gorgeous milky-mouth, while rolling around on his back doing a perfect rendition of “cuteness overload”.
