Rest in Peace, Old Boy

Timo was an adorable Teddy Bear Hamster who lived out his last days at the SPCA waiting for his fur-ever home, which sadly never came. He crossed the rainbow bridge by succumbing to old age in November 2022.

 

Timo, you were super cute and we so enjoyed all your cuddles, rest in peace dear boy.

The average lifespan of a hamster is only 2-3 years, a short time compared to other pets such as dogs and cats. For this reason, many people choose not to get a hamster as a pet. However, hamsters can make extremely rewarding pets for those who are willing to care for them during their short lives, as they are such cute and cuddly little creatures.
