These dogs are busy-bodies. Their tails wag at hundred km/h. They are always ready to go day or night, especially without regular exercise and usually have great athletic skills. These dogs need a lot of mental stimulation and physical exercise. If you are not keen on exercise, then this type of dog is not for you.Sweet Timothy is a young male Border Collie in need of a gentle, loving person to call his own. He would be such a sweet, loyal (and active) companion to a breed-experienced family. He’s feeling a little overwhelmed, yet our behaviourist has taken him under her wing and helping him feel safe, comfortable and providing him plenty of enrichment. Timothy is a sensitive soul and connects with you by giving gentle “hugs” and puts his paws up on your lap for gentle petting. He may enjoy the companionship of a dog friend in his home subject to a successful intro at SPCA. He has lots of love to share…and this boy LOVES his food- enrichment puzzles and his Kong. An active lifestyle a must- to provide him sensory enrichment and mental stimulation.
