Cape Town Cycle Tour 2026
A 109-kilometre challenge that closes the distance between kennels and families.
For many animals, the road to a family is not short. It takes time, patient handling, essential medical care, and careful matching.
In partnership with Hills Pet Nutrition, the Cape Town Cycle Tour’s Team SPCA hopes to raise R500 000 to prepare 70 animals for their happily ever after.
At at an average cost of R7 143 per pet, preparation for rehoming includes daily cleaning, disinfecting, and laundry, veterinary health checks, grooming, vaccinations to prevent disease, behaviourist sessions, and pre-home inspections. The cost also includes lifelong post-adoption support and home visits, ensuring that every placement has the best chance of lasting success.
If you don’t yet have an entry
Commit to raising a total of R3000. A deposit of R500 is due when you register and the balance of R2 500 before race day
If you already have an entry
and want to transfer to Team SPCA, give us your details and we’ll transfer your entry to our charity. You will not need to pay a deposit, but you must commit to raising a total of R2000.
