On August 24th, 2024, we proudly hosted our inaugural Padel4Pets event in celebration of International Dog Day.
The goal of Padel4Pets was to raise awareness and funds for the many dogs patiently awaiting their forever homes in our kennels. With every serve and score, we aimed to bring hope to animals in desperate need of love and care.
We are thrilled to announce that we raised an incredible R48k for our Adoptions Centre! These funds will go a long way in helping us rehabilitate cats and dogs, giving them the best chance at finding loving homes. None of this would have been possible without the generous support of our players and donors. Your contributions made the day truly special.
A special thank you to our main sponsor, Bravecto South Africa, for making this event a reality. Your support covered the costs of the player shirts and venue, and we are immensely grateful for your ongoing commitment to our cause.
We’d also like to extend our gratitude to Racketlon SA, Dogs Life SA, and Montego for the fantastic prizes, and to Epic Padel Paarden Island for being such wonderful hosts. If you’re a padel enthusiast in the area, be sure to pay them a visit!
