Team SPCA Super Hero Squad -no capes were required – just their running shoes, their hearts full of compassion, and the spirit to make a real difference.

Thank you to our amazing athletes who geared up to be our hero’s by running in the Sanlam Cape Town 10km Peace Run; the 11km and 22km Cape Town Trail Marathon and the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon on the 14 and 15^th October 2023.

Thanks to the combined efforts of our 31 runners, they were able to raise more than R100 000– amazing! 

Team SPCA runners included our two vets, Dr Rivona and Dr Reece,  who ran the 10km Peace Run – in addition to Captain Crow-a-Lot – also known as Muhammed Asgar Dalvie – who wasn’t chicken to run the full Sanlam Cape Town Marathon in a heavy rooster kit.
