Is it too much to ask, that animals are offered food, comfort and shelter? We don’t think so.
Yet eight-year-old Ruff has suffered a lifetime of neglect. This brown-eyed boy was starved to the brink of death, tied to a street pole in the blazing sun, and abandoned.
This brown-eyed boy was starved to the brink of death, tied to a street pole in the blazing sun, and abandoned.
Ruff should have died tied to that pole in Belmont Park. But he didn’t – because a team of animal heroes rallied to save his life.
Thanks to the support of animal activists like you, Ruff has received care from a string of dedicated units at the SPCA:
He was
* rescued by our Inspectors
* tended to at our Animal Hospital
* cared for at our Adoption Centre
There’s no excuse for abandoning an animal and denying it veterinary care and food.
It’s cruel – and a criminal offence.
