Get Involved

Our motto is, ‘Animal Cruelty Must Stop. No Animal Should Suffer’. If that’s something you relate to, why not get involved in supporting your SPCA?

There are many different ways to get involved, from donating cash, gifts in kind and time, to supporting our fundraising events – or even organising one of your own!

It doesn’t matter what you choose to do for the animals in our care – the main thing is that you do something!

Sponsor

Sponsor a gift for a shelter animal or buy a shelter animal a gift in lieu of a birthday, wedding or Christmas gift for someone you know who is an animal lover.

You can help by sponsoring something specific at the Cape of Good Hope SPCA, from as little as R15 for deworming, to sponsoring food for a month, having an animal sterilised or have a kennel named in your honour.

Dedicate Your Birthday

Tired of the endless bath soaps and ugly ties?

How about asking friends and family to donate to the SPCA in lieu of a birthday gift?

Make this the year your birthday changes an animal’s life at the SPCA.

Unleash the Animal in You

Whether you like to run like a breeze, cycle like the wind, shake your tail feathers or just monkey-around, it all starts with unleashing the animal inside of you. If you want to combine your love of sport and animals then this is purr-fect for you.

With the funds that you raise you will help us to continue to Speak for, Protect and Care for Animals. If you need any support along the way, our animal loving fundraising teams are here to help you have as much fun and raise as much money as possible.

Ready. Set. Go! and open this brochure for more information. Print it, email it, share it with someone you know who would like to make their race count for more!
