Little Girl Lost – and Found

Reading progress

What do you do if you’re a kitten, stuck up a chimney? You cry your little heart out until someone rescues you!

That’s precisely what a tiny ginger did after being saved by Trainee Inspector Carly Jordaan and members of Cape Town’s Fire Department … she cried all the way to the SPCA – and even after drinking special kitty milk formula, she kept crying! Our staff were at a loss.

Then, a nursing mother cat and her kittens were admitted … and the penny dropped: she needed a mom! After being accepted by the feline family, she cuddled up … and stopped crying.
