It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Flash's passing.
Found wandering the streets in July 2018, Flash captured the hearts of everyone at the SPCA. He watched nearly 2,000 of his friends find forever homes, and waited very patiently for his own special family to come along.
Our on-site Animal Behaviourist, Nicole Nel, taught Flash to communicate through hand signals, allowing him to connect with the world and a special family at last.
He taught all of us a valuable lesson – never give up, Life can really change in a Flash!
We extend our deepest condolences to Ryan Africa and Jade Everts-Africa for their profound loss.
Thank you for opening your hearts and home to this remarkable boy. Your love was the best love he ever knew and we can’t thank you enough for that.
Flash may have crossed the rainbow bridge, but his spirit of patient optimism will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
He was a true hero and he will be dearly missed.
