It was bubbles and bliss for the SPCA’s dogs, thanks to volunteer grooming duo Isabel and Kevin, who hitched their mini mobile spa to our plugs and hosepipe before treating our homeless hounds to a makeover.
A team of six volunteers all dived into the day with much loving enthusiasm and our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Sweet Mona, who had her hair trimmed for the first time, was initially nervous but soon warmed up and wagged her tail. Her pampering must have worked wonders – because after waiting for months, Mona found a home the week after her grooming!
