Whether you are running the Sanlam Cape Town Peace Trail Run 12km/ 22km / Marathon or 10km Peace Run now you can do it “for the LOVE of ALL ANIMALS”

What will make your challenge even more satisfying is the knowledge that every step helps our fight against animal cruelty.

All you have to do to make your race count for more and help STOP ANIMAL CRUELTY and give animals a NEW LEASH ON LIFE is to sign up with #TEAMSPCA and pledge to raise a minimum of R2 500 – this amount will include your race entry (entry for peace trail run only – all other races to have their own entry), a good quality running shirt and a few exclusive extras.

In addition:

  • Our top fundraiser stands a chance to win a R1000 voucher kindly sponsored by Falke and a JBL Endurance RUN BT Wireless Sports Headphones from Connoisseur Electronicsto the value of R799.
  • Our second top fundraiser will also be awarded with JBL Endurance RUN BT Wireless Sports Headphones to the value of R799 and a copy of Ryan Sandes, who is an Ultra- Distance Trail runner’s book, called Trailblazer.
  • Each Team SPCA member will receive a pair of Glider polarised eyewear.

Exciting News! Is that Bayopet expert protection ( @bayopet) has kindly come on board as the proud sponsor of Team SPCA Sanlam Cape Town Marathon/ Peace Trail & Peace Run 2019 and has many exciting things lined up for runners who join our team in one of these races.

Also Chantel Erfort Manuel – Editor of the Cape Community Papers has joined #TEAMSPCA in the 12km Peace Trail Run (14th September 2019) and she , like the rest of the team will run to raise much needed funds and awareness of the many animals waiting for their forever homes and a “NEW LEASH ON LIFE”

Julian Naidoo –Cape of Good Hope SPCA board member and presenter at Heart 104.9 FM will “Run2Stop animal cruelty” and “ Justice4Animals” by running the Sanlam Cape Town 10km Peace Run on the 15 Sept 2019.

For those who are looking 12km & 22km Peace Trail Run entries please complete registration https://enter.entryninja.com/events/46182-spca-sanlam-peace-trail and pay R500 deposit. The balance of R2000 must be raised before 6 September 2019 either through Given Gain, Doit4Charity or paid directly into our bank account.

Terms and Conditions

Agreement

Each TEAM SPCA runner agrees to raise a minimum of R2 500. This amount includes entry, running shirt and the balance is a donation to the SPCA.

Deposit and payment terms

R500 deposit must be paid upon registration by all runners. The balance of R2000 must be paid (either directly into our bank account, Given Gain or Doi4Charity by 9 September 2019)

Cancellation fees:

If you cancel your entry before 20 August 2019 a 50% surcharge will be deducted from your deposit. Should you cancel after this date you will forfeit your deposit.
