Erryn was barely the size of a human hand when she was found. Lying in a field.
She was just born into a world that didn’t want her, to a Mother who was likely living in filth and had no care herself.
Carolyn from Paws-a-While did everything right. She stepped in. Erryn was taken to the vet, she was dewormed, fed, held, and loved.
But sometimes, love is not enough.
👉 She was likely born with worms, passed down from her Mother.
👉 Her tiny body, overwhelmed by parasites, couldn’t absorb the nutrients she needed.
👉 There were so many worms that they likely caused a gut obstruction, and as they died, they took her with them.
👉 She never stood a chance.
This is what happens when animals are not wanted.
It’s not just about ‘too many puppies.’ It’s about suffering. About lives lost before they even begin.
On March 26th, we go back to Lavender Hill, where 171 animals were sterilised in our last mass animal sterilisation campaign.
Another 100 animals will be spayed—preventing the suffering of 1000’s of puppies like Erryn.
Help us break the cycle. Sponsor a sterilisation.
Give whatever you can. Every spay saves lives.
Do it for Erryn. Do it for the next puppy who deserves a chance.
