The 29-year-old family man from Eersteriver says “I have always wanted to work hands-on with animals”.  Rudie holds a postgraduate degree in conservation biology and started working at the Cape of Good Hope SPCA a few months ago. He has a previously been in conservation for more than five years.  Since Rudie joined the SPCA he also rescued several horses, pigs, cows and cats.
