Claudia Classen, resident of St James, a seaside village on the Cape Peninsula situated on the False Bay coast between Muizenberg and Kalk Bay became a Rising Star earlier this month when her Rising Star Tails Up Club ticket won her R10 000 in the resent draw.

Rising Stars Tails Up Club convener Greta Marz says the winning ticket was confirmed by BDO Auditor, Sbuyiselo Mshengu before Claudia Classen was informed of the outcome.
The lucky winner was notified by telephone and responded “Thank you for the totally awesome news! It could not have come at a better time! I am overjoyed. Many thanks again to the SPCA for doing a brilliant job and for giving hope, as well as for running the lottery!”
