Tails Up Lottery Winner Luan Crawford is November’s Rising Star

Luan Crawford, resident of Tokai, a residential suburb in Cape Town became the next Rising Star earlier today when her Tails Up Club ticket won her R10 000. 

“What a surprise and honour to have won the lucky draw.  This is the most money I have ever won.”

Rising Stars Tails Up Club convener Greta Marz says the winning ticket was confirmed by BDO Auditor, Sbuyiselo Mshengu before Luan Crawford was informed of the outcome.

The lucky winner was notified by telephone.  She works in retail and owns Looters based in Retreat. Luan is an avid Cape of Good Hope SPCA supporter and also places SPCA collection tins in her retail store.

In her conversation with the SPCA earlier, Luan confirmed she has nothing special planned for the festive season and will be working with exception of Christmas and boxing day.
